The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences is organising an online reading and discussion session on Saadat Hasan Manto, the Urdu author who was one of the finest creators of short stories from the subcontinent, to commemorate his 108th birth anniversary. Manto is remembered for chronicling the human dimensions of the Indian partition through his powerful and poignant stories. essays and sketches. We welcome you all to an evening of lively discussion, story-telling and reminiscences.
This online session is being scheduled on 30 May (Saturday) from 4-6 pm.
